We repair Wolf dual-fuel and gas ranges (the pro-style ranges known for their red knobs), wall ovens, gas, electric and induction cooktops, rangetops, speed ovens, convection steam ovens, microwave drawers and warming drawers. Wolf is part of Sub-Zero Group, alongside Sub-Zero refrigeration and Cove dishwashers, so it's common to find all three in the same kitchen.

Wolf equipment shows up in a lot of Clearwater Beach, Belleair and Island Estates kitchens, and much of it is 10 to 20 years old and still worth keeping. Wolf dual-fuel ranges pair sealed gas burners on top with an electric convection oven below; all-gas Wolf ranges use a gas oven with a hot surface igniter. Built-in wall ovens rely on electronic controls, temperature probes, door locks and convection fans, and the newer M and E series ovens use touch or glass control panels.

Wolf appliances are built to be serviced, and most problems — spark ignition, oven igniters, bake and broil elements, sensors, convection fans and control boards — are fixable in one or two visits. Coastal homes see more ignition trouble than inland ones: salt air and humidity corrode spark electrodes and switch contacts over time. Some Wolf parts are stocked by suppliers; others ship in a few days. We tell you the timeline and the flat price at the diagnostic visit, and the $79 diagnostic is credited toward the repair.

Common Wolf problems we fix

  • Burners clicking or not lighting

Wolf sealed burners use spark ignition with automatic re-ignition. Spills, cleaning water and humid, salty air cause igniters to misfire or click continuously. Usually a cleaned or replaced igniter, spark switch or spark module.

  • Gas oven slow to heat or not heating

On all-gas Wolf ranges, a weakening hot surface igniter is the most common cause — it glows, but doesn't draw enough current to open the gas valve. The oven gas valve and temperature sensor are the next suspects.

  • Dual-fuel oven not heating or uneven

Bake and broil elements, the convection element and fan, and the oven temperature sensor. Uneven baking often traces back to a failed convection fan motor.

  • Oven controls not responding

Control boards, touch panels and relays — sometimes after a surge or outage. We verify the board is actually at fault before ordering one, since they're among the more expensive Wolf parts.

  • Door lock or self-clean problems

Door lock motors and switches can fail during or after high-heat self-clean cycles, leaving the oven locked or showing a lock fault.

  • Convection steam oven faults

Scale build-up, water reservoir, pump and sensor issues. Regular descaling matters wherever minerals build up.

  • Induction cooktop errors

Cooling fans, power boards and temperature sensors. Cookware that isn't induction-compatible can also mimic a fault.

Wolf repair FAQ

Do you service Wolf outside of warranty?

+

Yes. We repair Wolf ranges, wall ovens, cooktops and rangetops out of warranty directly. In warranty, Wolf may require its own certified service network — we're not factory-certified for Wolf.

Why do my Wolf burners keep clicking?

+

Usually moisture or residue on the igniter, or a failing spark switch or module. Let the cooktop dry completely with the burner caps seated correctly; if the clicking continues, the switch or module likely needs replacing.

Is a Wolf range worth repairing?

+

Almost always. Igniters, elements, sensors, fans and even control boards cost far less than replacing a pro-style range — and replacement often means new cabinetry or gas-line work.

Why is my Wolf gas oven slow to heat?

+

A weak hot surface igniter is the most common cause. It glows but doesn't get hot enough to open the gas valve fully. It's a single-visit repair once the part is on hand.

Can you get Wolf parts?

+

Yes. Common parts are available quickly; some specialized boards and panels take a few days. We'll tell you the timeline before you approve the repair.

How long does a Wolf repair take?

+

Most Wolf repairs take one visit to diagnose and one to complete, usually within a few days. Simple igniter and spark issues are often fixed the same day.
