Miele is a family-owned German manufacturer based in Gütersloh, and its appliances are built for long service lives — which makes them worth repairing. We service Miele dishwashers, front-load washers, vented and heat-pump dryers, wall ovens, steam and speed ovens, induction cooktops, ranges, and built-in refrigerators and wine units across north Pinellas when they're out of warranty.
Miele dishwashers are the Miele product we see most in Clearwater, Belleair and Dunedin kitchens, followed by compact 24-inch Miele laundry in Clearwater Beach condos where a full-size pair won't fit. Miele dishwashers use a combination filter in the base, a drain pump, a heating system and a Waterproof system that shuts off water when it senses a leak — so most problems show up as a clear fault code or a symptom we can trace quickly.
Miele engineering is different from mainstream brands, and many parts are Miele-specific. Common items like drain pumps, door seals, filters and sensors are generally obtainable; some boards and specialty parts take longer to arrive. We'll confirm the part and timeline at the diagnostic visit, give you a flat price before any work, and credit the $79 diagnostic toward the repair.
Common Miele problems we fix
Dishwasher not draining (often F11)
On many Miele dishwashers, a drain fault means a clogged filter combination, debris in the drain pump, or a kinked or blocked drain hose. Cleaning the filters often fixes it; a damaged pump is a straightforward replacement.
Waterproof system / leak fault
Miele's Waterproof system shuts off the water and shows a fault (F70 on many models) when water reaches the base. We find the actual leak — door seal, hose, sump or pump — rather than just drying the base so the fault comes back.
Dishes not drying or not clean
Low rinse aid, a clogged filter, blocked spray arms or a heating problem. Hard Pinellas water leaves scale that affects both cleaning and drying.
Washer not draining or spinning
A clogged drain pump or a worn pump, door lock problems, or an unbalanced load. Miele front-loaders give a fault message that narrows down the cause.
Dryer taking too long
Heat-pump Miele dryers have lint filters in the door and a second filter in the plinth at the bottom front — when those clog, drying slows dramatically. We clean them and test the heat pump and sensors if that doesn't fix it.
Steam oven faults
Scale in the water system, a failing pump or a sensor problem. Regular descaling matters in hard-water areas, and Miele steam ovens will prompt for it.
Wall oven and speed oven problems
Heating elements, temperature sensors, convection fans, door locks and control electronics. We confirm the fault before ordering expensive control parts.
Refrigerator and wine unit cooling
Fans, sensors, ice makers and condenser airflow on Miele built-in refrigeration — coastal salt air makes condenser cleaning more important.
Manufacturer warranty
If your appliance is still under the manufacturer's warranty, the manufacturer may require its own certified service network for covered repairs. Out of warranty, we repair it directly — and we'll check your warranty status with you before any work.

Miele repair FAQ
Do you repair Miele dishwashers?
+
Yes — they're the Miele appliance we see most. Drain faults, leak faults, door seals and drying problems are the usual calls, and most are repaired in one or two visits.
Are you a Miele authorized servicer?
+
No. We're an independent repair business and repair Miele appliances out of warranty. If your Miele is still under warranty, contact Miele first so the repair is covered.
Is a Miele worth repairing?
+
Almost always. Miele appliances are designed for long service lives, and repairs like pumps, seals, sensors and heaters cost far less than replacing a built-in appliance and its installation.
What does F11 mean on a Miele dishwasher?
+
On many models it's a drain fault. Check and rinse the filter combination in the base and make sure the drain hose isn't kinked. If it still won't drain, the drain pump may be blocked or failed.
Why is my Miele heat-pump dryer taking forever?
+
Usually clogged lint filters — both the door filters and the plinth filter at the bottom front. Clean both; if drying is still slow, the heat pump or sensors need checking.
Can you get Miele parts?
+
Common Miele parts are generally available; some specialty boards and assemblies take longer. We'll confirm availability and the timeline before you approve the repair.
